Icebear 2026 is a short PSX/PS1-style horror experience set in the remote forests of Zekeley County, Oregon, in January 2026.

An unknown natural disaster has caused the deer population to become extinct, leading to a surge in the price of their skins.

A contact from the city has pointed you to a restricted area on the map, located deep in the forests of the Northwest Coast. But the deeper you delve in your greedy pursuit of prey, the more strange things begin to happen. Perhaps you'll be the one to discover the cause...

Ein interessantes Horrorgame - bin gut unterhalten worden :)

Ich hatte keine größeren Bugs im Spiel, zumindest sind mir keine schwerwiegenden aufgefallen.

An interesting horror game—I was well entertained! I didn't run into any major bugs; at least, nothing game-breaking caught my eye.

Oh no, so many game breaking bugs.  I liked this game, too bad I couldn't get past all the bugs and one can't expect someone to replay a game over more than four times, so I gave up.

EU NÃO ESPERAVA POR ESSE FINAL..

Loved the story and the gameplay! Good job!

The game is very good, it's a shame I wasted bullets and had to reset lol

one of the coolest looking monster that i seen

I wasn't familiar with the creepypaste story. But I enjoyed it. Great game

HEY  The refresh position of the deer in the game may cause a bug, if others encounter this problem, you can shoot first and wait for the deer to come

Hello!

Is it possible to complete/ win the final battle? Can you add a respawn function? Greetings

It is possible to complete the final battle. Unfortunately, the game is already quite short, so I didn't consider the possibility of respawning.

For a game inspired by a creepypasta, it’s actually pretty good. I was surprised at how well-made it is, especially with the final battle, though the bugs definitely hold it back.

There are a couple of bugs that negatively affect gameplay. One of the most common I’ve seen is that deer literally pass through the map boundaries (or invisible walls), making it impossible—or at least very unlikely—to skin them. Even if you kill them, they can “jump” and move farther away from where you shot them. Another less frequent but equally bad bug is that when you shoot deer twice (killing them), there’s a chance they glitch and fall off the map into the void. Maybe that only happens in specific corners, but it happened to me about three times.

There’s also a funny bug that only requires two keys to trigger. By constantly switching between 2 and 3 to swap from rifle to knife, the knife can glitch and stay half-closed after opening. It’s amusing, but harmless.

Overall, the game is quite good, but it needs polishing since the bugs can really affect gameplay—I had to restart four times because of them. One recommendation would be to add a section showing how many bullets the rifle has, or to display stamina during the final boss fight. That last one is just a suggestion, but the game is great as it is.

Exceptional visuals, really immersive environment and intriguing story, which was sadly ruined by the unbreakable bug - flawed design, but fixable.

The game was really interesting. The menu presentation, animations, the shooting, item system, all well crafted. I also did enjoy the music, but, it went all downhill withing the first minutes.

I assume this is a design flaw and not something the game was meant to do, but the invisible walls only disappear if you skin the deer. Now, I understand that's the basic idea behind the character staying in a certain spot/area until they complete the task, but the task itself was to be possible to complete. During my gameplay, you can clearly see that the deer went many times over the invisible wall and I was unable to reach them. I had to restart the game and that fatal error occurred again. After abandoning the game, I struggled with the decision of - do I post this or not, but when I played the game again, off screen - same exact thing happened. And, in the end, this is the result.

I do hope this gets fixed and many people enjoy the game. Hopefully, this helpful. Good luck with your next projects as well!

Thank you for the detailed and honest feedback and for pointing out the problem! I will try to release a patch fixing this and many other small issues as soon as possible.
